Flatanger is undoubtedly the most famous climbing destination in Norway and currently home to the world’s hardest route (a 9b+ set by Adam Ondra). As we park up, Ondra daudles by, gearing up to make an attempt on his projected 9c in the crazy Hanshallaren cave with its overhanging roof routes. An impressive crag worth seeing.
PS van travellers: free camping in the area is unfortunately impossible (your choice is paid parking or farm campsite). The farmer will chase you for payment.
